down to 1…degree

I’ve finished graduate classes and left sunny Savannah to spend the holidays with my family in Green Bay, WI. Needless to say, my favorite teal mittens, along with several of their hat and scarf friends, made the trip with me. It’s been great to see snow again, great to see the Packers from a chilled Lambeau bench, and great to come home to a warm bowl of booya (as fun to say as it is delicious).  And of course, I’m continuing to work on my thesis which explores podcasting as a marketing tool for publications. I really am enjoying the new scenery, and all the layers.

it’s the final countdown…

I am down to my last three weeks of graduate school in beautiful Savannah, Georgia. It has been a wonderful place to grow and learn. I will certainly be sad to see the spanish moss in my rear-view mirror, but I am looking forward to a new adventure.

words. what else.

We human beings belong to language. In language we love and hate, we admire and despise. We interpret our crises as individual and social. We suffer, and exalt, and despair. In language, we receive the gift of being human. All the feeling, the thinking, the action, and the things of the world as we know it are given to us in language.

hello world

So, I finally decided to set some ideas free out on our good ol’ series of tubes. Correction: I decided to start a blog quite a long time ago. I’m finally, actually starting it.

Follow the links at the top of the page to see some of my work, learn a little bit about me etc. I will be adding a lot more content to the pages over the next few weeks. So, please come back and wander.

If you have any comments, questions, good recipes,
feel free to email me at abronsveld@gmail.com
